Dr. Lin holds a Ph.D. in Physics, has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at a top university in Germany, and is currently an associate professor at Cheng Kung University. Because her mother-in-law has work experience in hospitals, she noticed that she was suspected of cancer, and was diagnosed with cerebral hemangiopericytoma. His professional background and family support have enabled him to face the challenges of his illness positively.

When you walk into their story, you can clearly see the small but determined light in the darkness. In “Glimmer Hour”, the protagonists have a variety of backgrounds and life stories. They are musicians, professors, housewives, or academics. Through the interviews, the protagonists shared their own outlook on life and personal experiences, allowing the audience to feel and resonate with the life journeys of these different characters. In each episode, we will take the audience to an in-depth understanding of the real life of cancer patients, starting from different life backgrounds, occupations and social roles, revealing their outlook on life, disease experience, and attitude towards adversity. We hope to give strength and comfort to those struggling to fight cancer and their families, while also providing an opportunity for a wide audience to learn more about the disease and its impacts.
